Nahimana gathered her followers together as the sun began to wane and disappear into the distant hills. The moon was now rising from the ocean, it was almost full. Glancing back at her small band of wolves, she felt tears of joy prick against the side of her eyes. She was an Alpha. It felt as if everything had fallen into place. Meeting such wonderful wolves to help her bring back a long distant Culture that had all but vanished in these many Moons. Now, behind her was the new generation of Dawnguardians.

By the time the moon was in the sky they had reached the Great Water. Waves rolled peacefully on the shore and sweet and salty scent of the Great Water washed over the band of wolves. Nahi stepped onto the sand and crossed the beach to the water. The waves touched her paws and Nahi closed her eyes, letting the coolness sink into her paws. Stars began to dance on the surface of the water. The Gods were here. She could hear them. They had come for the Cleansing.

Turning around Nahi looked to the other five wolves. "It means a lot to me to be able to stand before you as your Ylva; your Alpha. I am blessed to have found such wolves to help me. Now we stand before the Great Water to be cleansed. Tonight, you all will be cleansed of your former lives and will begin your new life as a Dawnguardian. And when the moon is full, you all shall be given your True Names. For now, we must bathe in the light of the moon."

It wasn't the full moon so they all could not fully be blessed. But, Gaho still watched over them now. This is the first step to becoming part of Dawnguard. Nahi stepped first into the waves and walked into the shallows wil the water was at her belly. Turning back to face her pack she smiled at them. "My name is Nahimana, I pledge myself to Dawnguard!" Nahimana dove beneath the water just as a wave crashed over her. For a few moments there was no sign of the russet female, then Nahi rose from the Great Water and beamed at the wolves on the beach. Water streamed down her face as the moon shined brilliantly off her wet coat.

"Who shall be next?"

So this is the first task as a Dawnguardian, before being fully blessed at the The Second Life Ceremony, which can only take place during a Full Moon. (which will take place on the 23rd) The new wolves must cleanse themselves in the light of the moon. This will cleanse the wolves of their past life so they might live a new life Dawnguard.

Roleplay, make a short story or draw a scene of your wolf being cleansed in the Great Water.
