<ButtGrapes>Stallion: Rain still pattered along the sludgy soils of Blutwald, the sky seemingly forever shrouded in overcast. The black and gold gamma guard made his way through the main den area, his northern pelt damp and clumped together in muddy lumps. His paws were caked in mud, and his usual emotionless expression was replaced by a look of discomfort and irritation due to the sickening amount of rain the valley was experiencing. In his jaws he carried a rather plump but wet rabbit, it's limbs dangling as he headed across the clearing and towards a small den that was nooked between two giant boulders. He slipped in with ease, his olive green eyes resting on the familiar beautiful red pelt of his mate, Winema. Luckily she was turned away from him, and he quietly sat the kill down and crept up behind her, running his chin up her back and giving her torn ear a gentle lick from behind. "Hello beautiful." He greeted, his black tail wagging some.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She'd been busy making up a herb bundle for Roman. She ran her claws through the herbs, tucking them inside each other, pressing them gently between her paws. Totally oblivious to being approached, she may heard a slight noise when Stallion slid between the two boulders, but thought it was nothing more than the regular wolves passing in and out of the main den. Then, she felt something against her back and she nearly jumped out of her skin. With a small yelp, she turned quickly just as Stallion licked over her ear. "Oh my! Stallion! You scared me!" she exclaimed, but quickly relaxed and licked his throat. Ever since they'd gotten back from the tunnel of love, she'd been a bit on edge. Yes, though they were mates she was still trying to keep on guard with Ivan and Roman around. but, all the uneasiness was wiped away as Stallion graced her with his presence.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He smiled at her skiddish behavior, and looked down at what she had been working with. "What's that?" He asked, curious as to what she had been up to while he was out doing his duties. He rested his chin down along her shoulder, curiously watching the bundle of herbs that lay at her claws. He inhaled slowly, taking in her scent. They had to be careful about their relationship, for if anyone found out their lives would be in danger, as well as his plans for Blutwald. Her sweet scent intoxicated him, and put his nerves about the rain to rest. He had seen her this morning but every moment he was away from her he missed her, and wished he could just openly love her. Soon, he'd have to make his move. Roman was falling apart, he could feel it. The pack was crumbling, and he would be right there to pick up the pieces.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: "A herb bundle for Roman. Its got his normal joint pain herbs, but also some Chamomile and tipton weed to help soothe him and his addiction." she explained. After finishing rolling the herbs she scooted the bundle into a safe corner. Turning to look back at her mate, she licked against his cheek. Inhaling his scent of mud and rain. Mmm, wet Stallion. One thing she liked about her den, you couldn't see directly into it due to the boulders that was against the entrance. If it was ever a good place to be together, it would be here. Well, almost. She knew they still had to keep their guard up. Cool air pressed against neck as she felt him inhale her scent. She laughed and from under his cheek bone to behind his ear, "Careful now. My fur smells like lots of things. Who knows how it'll make you feel." she said and gave a playful, sly smile.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: "I think you already know how it makes me feel." he said with a scoff, before pulling away to retrieve his gift for her. He gracefully picked up the rabbit carcass and set it down at her paws, giving her a gentle look. "Thought you might be hungry." He said, nudging it closer to her. It was second nature to him, he felt obliged to offer his mate fresh kill every chance he got, it was an instinct he inherited from his father. He recalled memories of his father Sylus bringing his grumpy mother Felidae squirrels every morning because it was what she liked, and the memory made him miss his father. He shook his head, and stepped back some, taking a glance at the bundle of herbs for Roman. He began to wonder if she had any kinds of poison, but that would be too easy and too risky. He'd have to just wait, but he didn't want to wait. He lied down where he was on the cool stone floor and stretched out his muscles, watching her for a moment. They were mates now, yet he could never tell what was on her mind. "What are you thinking of?" He asked, resting his chin on his paws.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She chuckled and nipped at his chin as he pulled away from her. Following him with her eyes she spotted the the carcass of a rabbit. He picked it up and lied it at her feet. Her eyes softened and her tail began to wagging. Her tongue licked over the stomach of the rabbit as it rested in her paws. She could see something flash over his eyes, a distant look. Hm, what was he thinking about? "Wondering what you're thinking of." she chuckling and gently pulled some meat from the rabbit and gulped it down hungrily.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He shrugged. "Just of my younger days, and my father." He said, a hint of longing in his voice. Sylus was a proud wolf, one he was very close to. The last time he had seen him was when he was only a juvenile, and he wondered if his father would be proud of him now that he was so close to becoming alpha. "And other things." he said, suddenly his train of thought progressing to Spiritoasis and Spiral, then Winema and pups. It was very possible to have pups with her, but would she even want to have more after the last time she lost her first litter? Ivan was also a big obstacle. He did not trust Ivan even for a blink, and he knew Winema's life would be in danger if he ever discovered she was carrying his brood. The thought irked him, and he felt a wave of protection wash over him. No way was he letting anyone touch her.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She tilted her head, frowning slightly. The longing in his voice made her heart twist. She crawled closer to him and licked his forehead. "You've never told me of your family." she whispered, nuzzling against his neck. "B-but, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to yet." she could hear there was pain still in his voice. Underneath her muzzle, she felt his body tense and she wondered what that was from?

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He cleared his throat, a small smile creeping onto his face. "I don't mind. I figured you'd ask at some point." He said, lifting his chest some to reposition himself on the stone floor, the coolness relaxing him. "Well lets see, my family was my pack, it consisted of my mother Felidae, her sister Reindeer and my father Sylus. Reindeer is Skins mother, but I only found that out recently." He said, thinking back to when he discovered his lost family relation. "We were rogues, I was born in a random den. From the moment I was able to eat meat we were on the move again, we never stayed in one place for more then a day. During the day my aunt would teach me all about hunting, and at night my mother taught me battle skills. I guess you could say my father was the only parental figure in my life. My mother didn't really care for me much. She was too consumed in the past. My father said that our family was part of the high ranks in one of the biggest packs ever known, but my mother was wrongly exiled due to jealousy and conspiracy, and she never let it go." He said, thinking of her stern tone of voice. "I've never seen her smile." He said, shrugging. "Sometimes I wonder if they hate me because I ran away with Spiritoasis, or if they're looking for me. My father in particular." He said, moving his ears into a v-shape. He dreaded his disapproval.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She listened to his story as she ate. Her eyes raised to his as spoke about his mother. To think a mother would be cold to her child.. Glancing at her paws, she frowned. When he finished, she raised her head seeing Stallion's face drop. Leaning forward, she pressed her head into his neck and rubbed it back and forth. "I'm sure your family is looking for you. What family wouldn't?" she said, faintly remembering her mother giving her up to Dawn, but it was a blurry and very distant memory. "Maybe, one day you'll find your dad, who knows." she shrugged, then began to lick his cheek and muzzle to try and cheer him up.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He smiled at her warm gestures, feeling a small weight being lifted off his chest. It was good to have her reassure him, though he knew that his mother probably saw it was a betrayal and gave up on him. Honestly, he didn't care what his mother thought of him. It was his father that really raised him at all, his mother was merely a teacher, as was his aunt. "Though before I found Blutwald, and after I lost my family, a kindly old female named Dandelion took me in and kind of became my adopted mother. I hope to find her one day so I can give back to the kindness she showed me. She's a big forgetful, I hope she remembers me." He said, thinking of Dandelion. He missed the twisted old female, she was more of a mother to him then anyone in the world. "Did I ever tell you Stallion's not my name?" He said, looking down at her as she snuggled into his neck fluff.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: Her head tilted the other way, "Its not?". Well, this was a big break through. She was learning a lot of new things about Stallion. A small smile grew on her muzzle, never in a day had thought that stoic like wolf--the wolf that thoughts emotions were weakness, the very first wolf she met her first few days in Blutwald would've become her mate. And, she was happy it was him, even if they did start out a little rocky. "Well, what is your real name?" she asked him, poking him playfully with her nose.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He smiled at her and nuzzled her back in the cheek. "My birth name was Riley." He said, looking at her for a moment before continuing. "I changed my name to Stallion shortly after Spiritoasis died. I didn't feel like the same wolf anymore." He said, feeling a small pang of sorrow hit him before it quickly melted away the more he looked at his new mate. "Anything else you'd like to know of past me?" He said, raising an eyebrow at her. He was in a good mood, and felt like answering any question she had to ask.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: "Riley, that's a cute name." she giggled softly, it faded though when she heard his voice drop. Leaning more into him, she began to groom his neck. "What else is there to know? What really made you want to take over Blutwald? Its obvious you've had this plan as you entered the pack." she asked, then took a bite more of the rabbit. She watched Stallion curiously, it did see that he had been plotting from the first day she met him.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He thought about her question carefully. There were many reasons why he wanted to take over Blutwald, and it really all just started to add to the cause. He looked down at his claws and flexed them, remembering what was going through his mind the day he found Spiritoasis's lifeless body among the fresh powdered snow, only to be taken away by scouts of her previous pack. "The day I lost my previous mate, something just.. snapped in my mind. It was like the universe was giving me my punishment for betraying my family and running away from them when they needed me. Part of me felt like I needed to redeem myself. To take over the most powerful pack I could find and really become something fierce. As time went on, I gained other reasons to take over Blutwald, like Dandelion, and you and everyone else I've grown attached to. I want to create a world where everything I care about is protected and can live like kings and queens under my reign. Maybe even raise my own children again." He paused, catching himself. He glanced down nervously at his mate, to see what she had to say after that.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: It did seem like Stallion had everything planned out. And now, everything was beginning to fall together. Roman was an aging wolf--and he wasn't going gracefully. His eyes were deteriorating, she even wondered if the bilberies were even working. He was becoming..or had become addicted to the healing herbs she'd been given him. Still, thought Roman was aging..fast she still knew her place in Roman's pack. She'd learned it the last she spoke to Roman out of turn. She'd probably had come close to being exiled from her task or even the pack. So, she'd just go to Roman in silence and do her task..nothing more. Now, here stood the new Alpha beside her. Never had she thought she'd become an alpha of a pack. Well, not willingly. Then, he spoke raising his own children again and her ear pricked forward. Looking up at him curiously, she smiled fondly at Stallion. "Raising pups, hm?" she said thoughtfully, remembering of her first borns passing away in the snow. She'd been an inexperienced mother and she'd been alone. Well, she was only one of those know. Still, she looked wary. She may not be alone now, but..what if she was still too inexperienced, what if her motherly instincts didn't kick in again?

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He could sense the wariness in her facial expression, and he leaned down to nuzzle her cheek. He kept his face close to hers, his eyes shining in the dim light with pure love and admiration. He would love to start a family with her, and have pups of his own again to raise and care for. He had loved Spiral so much that she was his world and universe, and he would have given her anything she wanted to be happy. He remembered her pale chubby face fondly, and wondered what his children would look like with Winema. Beautiful like their mother, no doubt. Perhaps fluffy like himself. He definitely favored daughters over having sons, but he wouldn't mind either way. Children were children, and if they were his he'd love them unconditionally. "I see you're concerned. Tell me what's the matter." He said, his voice low as he pressed himself against her, his face close to hers.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She glanced at her paws, "My pups..I couldn't keep them alive.." she said, slouching down and lied her head over the hare, no longer hungry. "They were born during the late Summer, and..I couldn't keep alive trough the winter.. What if..it happens again?" she stared up at Stallion, her eyes frightened. Deep down, she knew Stallion would always be by her side. That she wouldn't be raising these pups by herself. She would have the pack with her, but..there was always that irrational fear..

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He furrowed his brow and his mouth stiffened into a straight serious line. He lowered his muzzle to lick her torn ear affectionately, feeling sadness wash over him. True, they were not his pups, in fact they were her asshole brother's Chunta, but he cared a great deal for Winema and the fact that she lost her first litter was heart wrenching. "You were alone then, you won't be alone this time." He noted the fright in her eyes, and his heart twisted even more, weighing down his chest. "I love you and I will love these pups, I can promise you that it won't happen again. You won't have to suffer the same heartache." He said, ears pressing forward with all honesty and determination. No matter what he'd make sure that these pups would make it through the winter and grow up to be wonderful wolves, even if it meant seeking outside help. "You are also a wonderful and gifted healer, there isn't anything you can't cure." He said, giving her a nuzzle. He would also make sure that she would never go hungry as well while she was nursing, he felt he needed to provide for her as much as possible while she was taking care of them. Alpha or not, family came first. He didn't mind putting all his energy in for her and his family, it was his virtue.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: Shutting her eyes for a moment, she calmed beneath Stallion's gentle licks on the side of her head. Her body leaned involuntarily toward his licks and rested against the side of his body. He felt warm, and his closeness calmed her nerves. Opening her eyes she smiled gently at him, "You're right.. I'm not alone anymore. I have you." she said and began to lick affectionately under his chin.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: As she leaned into him he felt his own small wave of reassurance, and he couldn't deny the fact that he was worried too about their children survival through the winter. Her reactions to his words calmed him however, and he felt nothing but hopeful, even a little excited for the future. He rested his chin on top of her head and smiled a small smile. "And you always will." He said, shifting his weight so that his hind legs extended out against his left side. He enjoyed her chin kisses, it was his sweet spot, a sweet spot only Winema knew. "So, do you want them?" He asked finally, feeling confident enough to actually ask her if she really wanted to have his children.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: "Hmm, to have a family. A real family? Yes, I think I would like to try and have pups again. Especially with you, Stallion." she said and nuzzled her head beneath his chin and continued grooming him. Much like Stallion, everything was falling together like a puzzle in Winema's life. Yeah, she did have a rough start. But, in a way everything bad that had happened to her had shaped the way she was now. How this moment came to be. She would never had become a healer if her Mother never gave her to Dawn. In the most horrible way, if she wasn't taken from her pack she'd have never met Stallion. She smiled gently against his neck and looked up at him. Even though Stallion had first met another she-wolf that attracted him, if she'd never been out looking for herbs for Roman, she wouldn't have him next to her now. "Its funny, how the little or upsetting actions can make a good future.." she whispered.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: A big, almost goofy grin spread on his face, though he quickly cleared his throat and regained his cool, half closing his eyes and replacing his smile with a much smaller composed one. He lifted his chin some as she nuzzled her head underneath his, and enjoyed her grooming gestures. That was something he overly enjoyed that she did, grooming. He felt her gaze rest upon him and he looked down to her smiling beautiful face. Her words held strong truth in them, and he could relate. If he never ran away from home, he would have ultimately never met Winema. A world without Winema seemed so dull to him now, and not worth anything. She brought him life and something to think about other than himself, and he liked constantly thinking about her, and how he could make her day just a little brighter. "Soon, things will be perfect. I promise." He said, nuzzling under her chin and pushing her back some playfully, burying his face deep in her neck fluff.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She smirked at him as she spotted that big goofy grin on his face. She placed her paw on top of his muzzle as he pushed his head against her, "I saw that face. You can't hide it from you me. Your eyes sparkled like you were pup given a big giant bone." she laughed softly, looking into his yellowish, green eyes. She was smiling at Stallion, her eyes bright and playful. She liked seeing the other side of Stallion that let his emotions run wild.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: "You didn't see anything." He said, sticking his tongue out at her and pushing his face into her neck again, giving her tiny licks here and there to tickle her. He felt comfortable around Winema, and he could really let his shields down and be his true self around the dark red female. He felt as if he were the young and carefree juvenile that ran away to start a family once more, and he outstretched his arms and knocked her over, crawling on top of her to pin her. He opened his jaws and lightly enclosed her muzzle, giving her a playful scowl as he kept her mouth shut.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: Shaking her head, she watched as Stallion pressed his head into her neck fur and began to lick the side of her neck. Twitching against the tiny licks, she leaned her head into him as if it tickled. Which it did! Then his arms pushed up against her and she rolled to her back as Stallion crawled over her. Soon enough, his jaws enclosed her muzzle and she stared up at him curiously, but could see the playful smirk across his muzzle. Smirking back playfully, she pressed her front paws against his shoulders and stretched against him. Her tail was wagging all the while. She enjoyed playing around with Stallion, it made her forget about Ivan. Her only real threat inside the pack, but with Stallion so close she forgot all about him. She forgot about Roman's grumpiness and she focused on sharing her bond with her mate. Each time they played like this, it felt their bond was just growing stronger.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: His tail was wagging just as happily, a playful growl emitting from his chest, though it was quiet so they didn't alert attention to themselves by any wolf passing by Winema's den. He released her muzzle to speak. "So how does sharing a den with me sound?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at her as he nipped at her good ear, tugging on it playfully like a pup would to agitate their sibling. "And I bring you breakfast in bed every morning?" He said, now moving away from her ears to her chin, nibbling on the small fuzz that grew there. He kept her pinned underneath his sheer mass, muscles flexed around her. He wondered if she could ever take him in a real fight, but he would never lay a harmful paw on her even if the circumstances required it. "How about you and me, take a little time every night to just ourselves. Then I can show you how a real wolf is suppose to love his mate." He said, running his tongue along her chest before looking into her forest eyes with his own wild gaze.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: "I suppose it sounds pretty nice." she said wistfully, smiling playfully up at him. Truly, it really did feel good to share a den with Stallion. She held no qualms over it, and in fact looked forward to it. Of course, she knew they couldn't share a den just yet, not with Ivan sniffing around. Flexing her head back as he began to nibble on her chin and she chuckled softly, still slightly aware they were located in the main den. But, it wasn't like a lot of wolves passed through the main den. Winema could still feel his strength weigh her down, but it wasn't a dominance stance, it was playful. Her smiled widened as he groomed her chest and she looked up at him, "I'd like that." she said to him, wrapping a paw around his neck.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He smiled at her as she answered his questions, and he moved down to her lower belly, resting his chin along her attractive feminine waist. He lied down so that his upper half was wedged between her hind legs, front paws still pressed along her shoulders, keeping her immobilized. "I can give you the world, Winema, all it takes is a little patience. You have me in the palm of your paw." He said, pressing his nose against the inside of her arm, closing his eyes as he took in her sweet scent, her warmth pressed against his body giving him waves of emotions. She was so soft to the touch, and smelled so lovely. He could easily spend days just being close to her and not care about anything else in the world. He loved having her as his own.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She was warm and she felt loved as Stallion rested his chin against her waist. His paws were still on her shoulders and she tilted her head to the side to be able to begin to nibble against them. When he began to speak she looked back at him, "I don't need the world. Just you and our family. Our future family." she said and rested her paw against his forehead, rubbing the little fluff on top of his head. "You'll make a strong Alpha, Stallion. I know it. I can see it."

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He smiled at her, shaking his head free from her paw. "My father used to do that." He said, giving her a warm smile. In his heart it was a bitter sweet moment, and he fondly remembered being a scrawny little pup with a mess of hair around his head and neck, and his father messing with it with his massive paw. "An alpha is only as strong as his counterpart." He said softly, turning his head so that his cheek was rested against her belly. He wondered what she would look like heavily pregnant, the thought of a plump Winema overjoyed him, because that meant she was carrying their future safe and sound.

<SeleneTheWerewolf>Winema: She let her paw rest against her chest again, as she watched some hidden emotion flicker over his eyes. Smiling down at him, she felt comfortable still beneath him. His body resting against hers, she felt his cheek turn against her stomach and she tilted her head to stare down at him. She wondered vaguely if he was thinking of the future pups she'd be baring soon. "You thinking about me being all fat with pups?" she said with a soft chuckle.

<ButtGrapes>Stallion: He chortled and looked up at her, his cheek still firmly rested against her belly. "Maybe." He said, biting his lower lip as he rubbed his face against her soft belly fur. Her underside was smooth like silk, and it was comfortable to lay on. He bet that when she became pregnant it would become even softer. Pregnant females tended to become softer in general during their terms. A sudden thought occurred to him. Winema was the only healer in Blutwald. His expression turned serious. Who would help them birth her newborns. He remained silent for a moment, not sure if his sudden thought would alarm her or not.
