I've been wanting to try out for Armonia for a while, since a new term is about to start I wanted to try and get in.

Just because she is a Sharpedo, she has been stereotyped on her island as being quite stand-offish or irritable. Quite frankly it's the opposite, or was.. Currently because she is afraid to hurt others and from always being seen as a scary and nasty pokemon she has almost adopted that character. At first, she is rather hard to get close to, she very rarely smiles because she's afraid of showing her sharp teeth and scaring people away--like how she did when she was in Mossdeep (its why her family mostly kept to themselves). If one can see past her cold and callous outside, they'll find she is actually quite curious about other pokemon and everything around her. She loves to asks questions and has an insatiable appetite for anything new. So, she can be very friendly, but it'll take time for her to open up--once she does, she'll be your best friend. Be warned though, she has a short fuse, but will try her best to keep it as long as possible, she is afraid what might happen to pokemon around her if she gets too angry (only because of what she is, as Sharpedo's are known to be aggressive).

History:
Nami is the youngest of six siblings, all of them are brothers. Her family lived in an underwater cavern under Mossdeep City. Her family traveled to Mossdeep City to begin their enterprise as Fisherman. Her father owned their own boat where they would go diving or fishing to sell around the Hoenn region. Believe it or not, Nami was really the only offspring who enjoyed diving with her Father, Shanks. Her brothers either helped bring the catches in or make the fish ready for processing.

Beneath the deep blue sea was where Nami found her love for taking photos of the underwater pokemon that most of the land-lubbers never or rarely ever see. She'd also go sailing with her mom who would do tours around Mossdeep city for tourists. They had a good job going for many years while Nami was growing up. She never really went to school, her family relied heavily on their children to bring income in for their home--there was never time for school. It changed, however...

The sky was dark, and it didn't look like a good day to go fishing. However, Nami persisted that they needed the money and they could be done diving before the storm hit. Throwing caution to the wind, Nami dove into the ocean without her Father. Lately, there had been other fisherman--the Grey's competition that would use long lines attached to buoys to collect their catch. Nami had never seen one and figured in this storm the buoys wouldn't be out. Not paying attention, because she had been distracted by a school of Chinchou close at the surface her arm got tangled in the line. She began to panic and struggle, only making the line get tighter around her arm. Before she could try and cut herself free, feral Sharpedo's had begun to circle.

Before she could move to defend herself, the feral Sharpedo attacked her trapped arm and while another charged to finish her off her father had dove in and beat the feral Sharpedos. She can't remember anything after her father intervened. She scarcely remembers her father pulling her out of the water and rushing her to a Clinic. When she woke up, there was an Audino standing at her bedside, removing her gloves. Beneath her gloves, she saw her fingertips were torn, raw and bloody. She realized, it had been from her own skin. She had hurt the pokemon that was helping her. Moments after that, she realized she had lost her arm. And her ability to help her family.

It's been a few months since she lost her arm. She has taken everything in stride, her brothers have taken up the responsibility of helping their father dive, and she has begun to help her mother with the Tours. She also began to educate the children of Mossdeep island the responsibility of fishing with long lines, that could not only damage an islander but also the wild pokemon. While teaching the children on the island, she began having the urge to learn more. She knows a lot about the water pokemon of the ocean, but anything beyond that..nothing. She has recently heard of a school called Armonia that can help teach young pokemon. Seeing that her family has have had everthing in hand, she told them it was time for her to learn a new trade--since it's a difficult time with her missing limb. Her parents and siblings encouraged her and wish her luck as she heads off to Armonia Academy.
